Our silly David came home from school the other day talking about a substitute they had. He asked me what "yella" meant. My reply was, "what did she say about yella, how did she use the word?" David replies, "She told the yella table to line up." From that point on in our conversation he continued to say, "It's not a yella banana, my pillowcase isn't yella, where's the yella shirt, etc." We laughed until we cried at this child! It is now a running joke in our house. He asked for his "pilla" before bed. It amazes me that a 7 year old catches grammar/speech errors! Just thought I'd share.
