Spring Break in Gatlinburg

Gatlinburg Trip

We made it after hearing, "Are we almost there? How many more minutes? What time will we be there? Can I have a snack? I'm thirsty." These boys have outgrown sleeping in the car. No one slept the entire trip, except me!

Yea, we are all smiles again after a long trip!
Our first stop was Ripley's Aquarium.

Of course, the boys favorite was the sharks!

The touch tank was much like McWane Center's tank, but you could actually hold the sting rays.

Jacob got to bring his class friend, Benjamin Bear along on the trip.

Look who we ran into on Wednesday at Ober Gatlinburg, the Bates! We had a great time riding the tram, ice skating, playing putt-putt, and doing the alpine slide. The day ended with a nice dinner and walking around the Guiness World Records museum. The boys were fascinated with this because they have the books and love reading them.

Below are some pictures from our hike to Laurel Falls. It was a little over a 2 mile hike round trip. We heard some complaints on the way to the falls as it was mostly up hill. However, once we got there it was BEAUTIFUL! We were reminded how awesome our God is! The boys loved playing in the Falls. We had a few falls in the water, but what do you expect with 3 boys? Needless to say, the water was very COLD!
