Jacob has to get dressed in baseball clothing, too. He insists he is playing All-Stars like Jonathan and David. One more year, Jacob!
This week began with a trip to Vulcan Park. Chad was off for Memorial Day and we needed something different, but nearby to do. We decided a quick trip to explore Vulcan would be fun. The boys thought it was so fun to go up and down the stairs and elevator. Even more fun, was running and rolling down the grassy hills that surround the park.
The rest of the week we spent time swimming, playing baseball, bowling, sleeping late and spending time with friends. Baseball tournaments have begun, complete with all of the All Star gear that goes along with being on the team....jersey, hat, helmet, backpack, etc. Truthfully, I think this has a lot to do with the boys wanting to play during the summer. Don't get me wrong, they do love the games, but the new "gear" is ultra cool!

As we were eating dinner at Chili's tonight, the boys began talking about which movie they were going to watch while going to sleep. You see, watching a movie in their room is a special treat during the summer. All three boys have been sleeping together in Jonathan's room because he is the only one with a TV in his room. While discussing this, David says loudly, "I get to sleep in the bed tonight. It is my turn." Chad and I both felt like the tables around us looked at us thinking, "Poor kids, they don't even have enough room in their house for everyone to have a bed to sleep in!"
