We are so thankful to be born and live in the United States. We too often take our freedom for granted. Our children have no idea how blessed they are!

Independence Day Weekend
We spent the first few days of this wonderful weekend watching David's All Star team play in the state tournament in Cullman. Go Trussville!!
Jacob and Carson brought their own entertainment in the form of personal DVD players!
The opposing teams met together after the game for a time of prayer led by one of the 6 year old players.
The boys had time to celebrate together! They also had games of disappointment. It was a great weekend and the boys came in 5th in the state. Way to go!
Thanks coaches and players. It has been a great season!
Jacob was a home run hitter at the batting inflatable.
My amazing children!
We celebrated the 4th of July with friends at the Trussville Freedom Celebration. There were inflatables covering the mall and a fireworks show that was amazing. Thank you FBCT for organizing such a family friendly celebration for Trussville!
The fireworks were David's least favorite part of the weekend. He is not a fan of loud noises! Having a ruptured eardrum did not help him out any! I forgot his earplugs!
Yesterday we decided to try out Oak Mountain State Park. The boys had a blast swimming in the "beach",
hiking in the woods,
finding rocks to keep as treasures,
and simply spending time together as family.
