We spent this weekend in Columbiana while Jacob played in the state tournament. We really thought we would be there longer, but they unexpectedly got beat early in the tournament. His 5 year old team made it to the third game in the bracket. We have to remind ourselves 5 year olds get exhausted and loose focus when they are out playing ball until 10:20 at night and up the next day playing more games in 100 degreee weather. Moms and Dads get exhausted, too! So, it was bittersweet. Now we are ready for a little more free time. As you can tell from the picture, Jacob was excited to get his medal! On to the next state tournament.......9 year olds!
